As a novice knifemaker it was a little challenging to get the bevels as symmetrical as possible for cohesive layers but it was worth the time! Truly enjoyed working with it. Will not be my last time ordering the 22 layer san mai!
Side note: the small skinner developed a sort of rusty discoloration post etching. I believe this was purely an error on my part, NOT THE STEEL. the other edc knife didn't develop any discoloration.
All the steel I have used has been fully annealed and forged beautifully. No delams with the layered steel. Great grain structure and emails are returned very quickly!
All the products came in a timely manner and the customer service was excellent. This is my go to stop for all my unique san mai and sumagashi steels.
