Description: This paper micarta is made with coarse recycled paper layers with black melamine layers. It can be finished with a matte/textured appearance OR it can be polished and sanded to give it a smooth appearance after a finish is applied. The multicolored slabs have 3 colored layers on the top and bottom and alternate 1x1 layers of color and black in the middle.
About: This material is a beautiful and heavy-duty composite known for its performance and its environmental sustainability. It has steel-like strength in span and stone-like durability but it can be worked like dense hardwoods. NSF food safe and made in the USA. This is material is similar to Richlite except it is a little easier to work and less likely to get burn marks while grinding.
