Wood Block Grading System:
- Select A- has burl figure throughout approximately 75% or more of the block
- Select B- has burl figure throughout approximately 50% or more of the block
- Select C- has burl figure throughout approximately 30% or more of the block
The grade of wood is purely aesthetic, and doesn't affect its durability or hardness of the blocks or scales.

There may be voids in the wood that can be filled in with Epoxy/CA glue.
