Colors: you will receive random pieces of our choosing. You will not be able to select any specific color or type.
One side of each piece will generally be flat from being cut off of the block while the rest will be the raw, rough, rounded edges from the block. These pieces are good for jewelry, inlays, spacers etc.
Sizes: Sizing will vary as these are cutoff/end pieces and what has been cutoff of larger blocks.
*sizes will vary from piece to piece. The pieces will not be uniform in size or thickness. Most pieces will be under 1/4” thick.
Listed price is $18.00 per pound of TruStone pieces. TruStone retail prices are typically $65-$90 per pound.
What is TruStone?
This beautiful material is made from natural stone ores which are crushed, pigmented and then stabilized in acrylic resin. This creates a material which is vibrant and beautiful mimicking real precious stones while providing the strength and stability to ensure that it will be durable and easier to work than precious stone materials.
Working with TruStone:
Although this is a durable material it may be brittle especially any corners or sharp edges. Use sharp abrasives and work slow for best results and to avoid overheating the material. Sand to a high grit and buff for optimal finish. It is best to cut with a diamond blade.
