Raffir Wood is a high quality brand of stabilized wood produced by Raffir in Denmark. Raffir has more than 2 decades of experience developing and producing stabilized woods along with stabilized ice age fossils, mammoth ivory, mammoth tooth and much more. The Raffir stabilization process is their own unique high-pressure resin treatment developed over decades of refinement. After this stabilization process, the final material has the fine grain patterns of the untreated wood while it obtains the mechanical benefits from the strong resin. Maintaining the unique grain patterns of the untreated wood and the high durability of the strong resin uniting these key qualities into an incredibly beautiful and durable material for makers and manufacturers of a variety of fine goods including knives, pens, musical instruments, jewelry, firearms, bows, fishing rods and more.
